ABOUT COACH SIKORA

Coach Kent Sikora has been passionate about QB play since he was a young kid growing up in Allen Park, MI.  He learned how to throw the ball in the backyard from his Dad (Skip Sikora), and fell in love with it.

Kent started playing football at 9 years old for the Allen Park Bulldogs and played quarterback all 5 years of Junior football.

He was a QB all 4 years of high school for the Allen Park Jaguars, where he led his TEAM to a 9-0 record and League Championship as a Senior Captain.  

After graduation, he headed to Eastern Michigan University to play football as a freshman where he red-shirted.

He transferred to Saginaw Valley State University where he was a freshman NCAA D-II All-American and finished 15th in the nation in passing efficiency as a redshirt freshman.  He finished his career as a captain and 3rd on the SVSU All-Time career passing list.

As a coach, he was an assistant, QB coach, and Offensive Coordinator for Hall of Fame Coach Bob Czarnecki at Trenton HS, before becoming Head Coach at Gibraltar Carlson HS, and then returning as an assistant/QB coach at Trenton HS.

During this time he coached multiple All-State, All-Area, Dream team Quarterbacks.

Today, he is passionate about teaching QB play to young players looking to improve their skills and become “QB’s For Life” with his Private training school D1QB Lab.
